Fieldwork

At Gallagher Pediatric Therapy we prioritize and value the importance of partnering with our academic institutions to support the development of future clinicians in OT/PT fields.   We offer fieldwork opportunities for Level I and II through the expertise and guidance of our therapists to develop clinical reasoning skills and preparation for entry level OTs and PTs within a school based practice. Students will be scaffolded with their performance expectations as they gain the skills necessary to transition from student to practitioner.

All fieldwork placements are established in coordination with academic fieldwork coordinators with contracts in place. Academic Institutions interested in developing a partnership with our facility may contact our Fieldwork Coordinator at fieldwork@gptkids.com.

Students interested in placement with our facility are encouraged to reach out to their academic fieldwork coordinator.  Interviews may be conducted prior to placement.
