Therapy Dog

One of the newest members if our therapy team is “Mac” our therapy dog in training. He is a purebred Newfoundland which has often called one of the “gentle giants” in the dog world. This picture was taken when he was 3 months old, prior to his official training starting.
 
He has since almost doubled in size and started basic obedience training with the ultimate goal of becoming a full-fledged therapy dog to be used in conjunction with the therapy of children to add to their joy and excitement when receiving their therapy.
